Licence holders have taken note that two of the biggest players in the liquor industry - SAB & Vinpro - have taken government to court about the ban on liquor sales. Government has alleged that it is of academic concern as the ban has been partially lifted, but acknowledged that further bans may follow. SAB wants a court order preventing further bans and submitted evidence relating to the devestating impact on its business and job losses.

In the light of a possible 3rd wave of the Covid virus, the outcome of these court cases are of great concern to liquor licence holders.
